The Partnerships, Knowledge Mobilization & Innovation (PKMI) office builds connections between University of Manitoba researchers and external partners in industry, government, non-profits, and communities. We work to accelerate the translation of cutting-edge Manitoba research into real-world impact by supporting partnerships, knowledge translation, and the commercialization of discoveries. PKMI also strengthens the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem by providing access to mentorship, funding opportunities, IP support, and venture-building resources—helping ideas grow into solutions that make a difference both locally and around the world.
